<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">I was aware there were people in my life that I needed to forgive as a way of moving forward and living a more meaningfully and authentically version of my life and letting go of what has been so what wants to be can be.</div><br />
I believe forgiveness is an act of self love and by facing and forgiving those challenging and painful areas of my life I am free to be me more fully and at a deeper level.<br />
<br />
Some of those I needed to forgive are very close to me or have been and one particular relationship I was very scared to look at<br />
<br />
For fear of what I may uncover, however it was time.<br />
<br />
Here is my version of a forgiveness ceremony – I share this as a framework for you to create your own unique version.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
“When you hold resentment toward another, you are bound to that person or condition by an emotional link that is stronger than steel. Forgiveness is the only way to dissolve that link and get free.” Catherine Ponder<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Forgiveness Ceremony – to be performed in nature if possible- I was by the beautiful Jindabyne Lake in Australia.<br />
<br />
You will need – paper and pen – <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Sit quietly and bring your awareness to your breath – centre yourself and ask yourself “what is my deepest truth about ……………… (The person or people you are to forgive), keep asking that question until information comes; I usually know I am in the deepest truth when I begin to feel emotion, trust yourself to know this point.<br />
<br />
Taking your pen and paper – write – Dear ………… (the person you are wanting to forgive) and write no editing – write until you can not write anymore, write until forgiveness comes. If you don’t feel like you can forgive the person, there is more to get off your chest. For some, this may take more that one session. Once you have reached forgiveness write a second letter this time writing – Dear …… I forgive you………………., simple allow what ever needs to come, come.<br />
<br />
After you have completed this process – its now time to forgive yourself – take another piece of paper and write a letter to yourself – Dear Me – I forgive you ……………<br />
<br />
When this is complete close your eyes and notice how your body is feeling.<br />
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />
</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">Give yourself an inner hug to acknowledge what you have bravely achieved and give thanks for your beautiful surroundings and you may like to set an intention for yourself. An example of an intention might be ‘even though …… doesn’t understand the way I choose to live my life, I appreciate them in my life and I love them as they are”.</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />
</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">I usually like to play a beautiful piece of music at this point to close my ceremony and then sit and observe for a little while – nature just may offer you a gift – like 13 black swans gliding by!</div><br />
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">I would love to hear of your own experience if that feels appropriate. </div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">Namaste,</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">Kym</div><br />

<br />
<br />
Are you aware of how powerful your language is? Do you realise the effect it has on the life you are creating?<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Becoming aware of the words that we continually utter to ourselves and speak out loud, has a huge effect on the life we are creating. <br />
<br />
How often are we striving to achieve a certain outcome, be it success in business, health or love, and we just don’t hit the results you truly desire – it could be our choice of words? Yes our choice – we can choice more empowering, life enhancing words.<br />
<br />
I have often heard people say things like “I am sick and tired off…..” “I can’t afford that”, “I don’t have a choice” “my boss never…..” and they wonder why life feels like such a struggle. If only we chose to become acutely aware of the words that leave our lips and the constant chatter in our minds we can positively change our results.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
When we find ourselves caught up in the challenges of life, the words that we choose to express those difficulties has an effect. I have also been paying close attention to the songs that are on repeat in mind – when I notice I am singing (in my mind) words that are not affirming of the life I choose to live, I immediately change the tune to a more empowering one. <br />
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />
</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">It goes to say that repeatedly talking about the things we are not happy with in our lives also keep that drama alive. “What we focus on is what we continue to bring about” so why not focus and speak of that which we desire. </div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />
</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">Are you minding your language? </div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />

<br />
<br />
“People don’t like change” is a very common saying – I’m not sure I agree.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Of course, some people don’t like change. I’m sure we can all relate to that older member of our family that likes things to be just as they always have been, grumbling at the slightest change, wanting everyone to conform to their way of doing things.<br />
<br />
Change doesn’t have to be labelled as bad ,there are definitely many benefits of change. For instance If we resisted change completely we wouldn’t have this wonderful way of communicating with each other via the internet, we wouldn’t be open to new resources to bring balance to our earth, we would not have been open to solar power, what about the seasons and many more new ways of being. Often the resistance to change is due to the fear of the unknown, however if we want to create an amazing life for ourselves, our family, our community we must embrace change regularly and constantly.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<em><strong>“If I’d asked people what they wanted, they would have asked fore a better horse” Henry Ford.</strong></em> <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
When contemplating how I deal with change I realise there are some forms of change I embrace and even welcome whilst others I resist stubbornly.<br />
<br />
I have been paying particular attention to my responses to change and have found that overall I view change as my friend and take that as a sign that I am growing and being more of what I want to see in the world. <br />
<br />
I have experienced a relatively large amount of change over the past 12 months and it has been, at times incredibly uncomfortable and even difficult to see my way forward on some days however, I have continued to explore and discover more about myself through the lens of “am I being the change I want to see?” I am happy to report that I have chosen to see the opportunity in the changes as my launching pad into a fuller more empowered way to live. Because of this I purposefully don’t allow myself to always sit at the same seat in my favourite café and look for opportunities to do the little tasks in different ways however what I don’t change is the vision I have for my future, I may need to course correct and look for new ways to create the outcomes I desire but my vision is clear and that wont change.<br />

How do you Feel about Change?Kym Kennedyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13560325527436680779noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2559708535808349415.post-66330529863365267452011-06-07T18:47:00.000+10:002011-06-07T18:47:15.575+10:00Opportunity brings adversity<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-rnSucYq3iS0/Te3lW3lk1II/AAAAAAAAAFw/QHVRHpKPQkc/s1600/images%255B5%255D+%25282%2529.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; cssfloat: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="136" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-rnSucYq3iS0/Te3lW3lk1II/AAAAAAAAAFw/QHVRHpKPQkc/s200/images%255B5%255D+%25282%2529.jpg" t8="true" width="200" /></a></div><br />
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">Today’s blog is a side bar to the Napoleon Hill inspired Success Principle. The reason for this side bar is that in my experience once we get clear about our desires and start to take actions to move towards achieving them it is to be expected that when opportunities start to show up, there is adversity that comes with those opportunities. For example if your goal is to get fit, you are going to have to embrace and change any out dated habits that are holding you back from achieving your goal. If you want financial freedom then you are going to have to look closely at past decision, take responsibility for those decisions and then set about making the necessary changes to make wiser, better informed chooses. </div><br />
There is a great quote that says <em>“if you want to own a horse you are going to have to shovel a reasonable amount of manure”.</em><br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Through out my life I have come to realise that adversity comes in all shapes and colours and a variety of intensity – what I also know is that the tools to deal with most adversity are the same. It is about taking ownership – not blaming, yourself or others, feel the emotions (not get stuck in them) and then set about taking the steps to doing what you can to make the changes needed to achieve your goal. I have often found the first step of embracing what needs to be done one of the more challenging, however once in action the universe seems to support the process. <br />
<br />
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">Let me share an example – recently a young man in my youngest sons circle of friends was killed in a car accident, an absolute trategy and of course his group of friends were absolutely devastated. I was completely inspired to witness my son show real leadership by organising an afternoon get together for the group of friends so they could share memories. This group of school friends hadn’t been together for quite a while and through this adversity they are reunited and supportive of each other.</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />
</div><br />
<br />
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">Have you experienced your own version of opportunity brings adversity and how was that for you?</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />

<br />
<br />
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-HDxbrYmyfxM/TdZBQQKpp2I/AAAAAAAAAFs/wsMh2H1NGCY/s1600/imagesCAYA9SMD.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; cssfloat: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="133" j8="true" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-HDxbrYmyfxM/TdZBQQKpp2I/AAAAAAAAAFs/wsMh2H1NGCY/s200/imagesCAYA9SMD.jpg" width="200" /></a>What is Faith? Napoleon Hill describes faith as <em><strong>“the head chemist of the mind. When faith is blended with the vibration of thought, the subconscious mind instantly picks up the vibration, translates it into its spiritual equivalent, and transmits it to infinite Intelligence, as in the case of prayer.”</strong></em></div><br />
Faith is essential if we are to achieve our desires. Once we have become clear about what we want to bring about in our lives, we must have faith that the universe will present us with opportunities to bring them about. During the time whilst our desires are gestating, visualisation is a powerful tool to keep the vibration of faith alive in us. <br />
<br />
There was once a time when we were all brilliant at visualising in the form of day dreaming when we were children. It is that mode we need to tap into again to create our visualisations. Allowing the pictures of how our life looks once our desires are realised. When we add emotion, feeling to our mind pictures we increase our vibration.<br />
<br />
When visualising I allow myself to see and feel how my life looks once I am living my desires. I do this religiously every day and the more times I allow myself the better. <br />
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />
</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><em><strong>“The emotion of love, in the human heart and brain, creates a favourable field of magnetic attraction, which causes an influx of the higher and finer vibrations which are afloat in the ether.”</strong></em> Napoleon Hill</div><br />
When doubt about achieving my desires creeps in I find visualisation a wonderful antidote. <br />
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />
</div>To visualise just before sleeping is a beautiful way to drift off and is powerful in adding to the magic. <br />

</div>Kym Kennedyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13560325527436680779noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2559708535808349415.post-58925927694433955512011-05-07T17:26:00.000+10:002011-05-07T17:26:36.971+10:00Desire – The first Step to RichesIn Napoleon Hills Book Think and Grow Rich - he talks about the 13 steps to riches. Whilst there is an emphasis on money these steps can be applied to any area of life that you wish to create success in.<br />
<br />
<br />
It is from this book that lots of well know quotes have been shared around the world. Quotes like “thoughts become things”, “What we think about we bring about” just to mention a couple. <br />
<br />
In the introduction chapter Napoleon Hill says that he discovered that if we were all to realise the significants of our thoughts and the effect they have on attracting into our lives what we desire ( or don’t desire) there would be no need for rest of his book. Our thoughts are incredibly powerful – whether we pay attention to them or not. <br />
<br />
I am sure we have all experienced the effect our thoughts have on our outcomes. I notice this mostly in my business when I am trying “too hard” to reach a certain goal. When I catch myself doing this I take a break, usually get out into nature and allow things to be for a while. I am always delighted by the flow that happens when I do this. It’s the energy in the “trying” that prevents the flow or the block.<br />
<br />
The first step discussed by Napoleon Hill is Desire – he speaks about the need to have a “Burning Desire” – to me this is about getting very clear on what we want to achieve and then allow the passion we feel – the reason why we want it, to add fuel to it.<br />
<br />
Have you ever had the experience of when you are doing something that you love you could do it all day long and you can loose all track of time? This is the passion that is required to add to the clarity to allow amazing results. <br />
<br />
Let’s talk about getting clear for a moment – it is so important to get crystal clear about what we want to achieve – what by when! What is it that we want (the goal) and by when (the time frame) do we want it. <br />
<br />
It is also really important to be clear about why we want to achieve a certain goal. It is the remembering why we want something that allows us to keep moving forward towards our goal until we achieve it. <br />
<br />
Let me give you an example of this. <br />
<br />
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-8PZqHxwRmdc/TcTzewNQ_jI/AAAAAAAAAFo/GwaYMwBf0ew/s1600/untitled.bmp" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; cssfloat: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="150" j8="true" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-8PZqHxwRmdc/TcTzewNQ_jI/AAAAAAAAAFo/GwaYMwBf0ew/s200/untitled.bmp" width="200" /></a>Both of my sons are very committed snowboarders – they both have different goals they want to achieve with their snowboarding, however both of them want this to be their career. They are so committed to their dreams of being professional snowboarders because they are passionate about their sport and they love the lifestyle of being out in nature and travelling the world. They know they have to put in hours and hours of time on snow attempting more and more difficult tricks to be recognised on the world stage and to live their dreams. I see them on some of the days the tricks don’t come off the way they want them to and how many times they “fall down” whilst attempting to perfect a certain trick and I see how easily it would be for them to become despondent, however they are so clear about where they are headed and what they wish to achieve and why they want it that they get back up and go after it again. </div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />
</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">I am constantly inspired to see how committed they are to their goals; I have not doubt they will absolutely achieve them. They have the “Burning Desire” it takes to achieve such big goals. </div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />

And when we blend this unique talent with service to others, we experience the ecstasy and exultation of our own spirit, which is the ultimate goal of goals” Deepak Chopra</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"></div><br />
<br />
<br />
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">Dharma is the Sanskrit word that means “purpose in life”. </div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />
</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">To live a purposeful life we need to know what our purpose is and when we combine this purpose with an intention of service to others life takes on such deep and wonderful feelings of fulfilment and joy.</div><br />
<br />
<br />
I am often asked how I know what my life purpose is. <br />
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />
</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">Here are some questions that may help you uncover your purpose in life.</div><br />
1) What do I love to do, that I when I am doing it I lose all track of time?<br />
<br />
2) What did I always say as a child that I wanted to be when I grew up?<br />
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />
</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">3) What hobbies do I have?</div><br />
4) What have I always dreamed of being?<br />
<br />
Take some quiet time and write your answers.<br />
<br />
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">The next thing to do is ask you “how can I earn a living doing what I love, in my own unique way?</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />
</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">By holding this question in your heart – you will be amazed what opportunities the universe will offer you. </div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />
</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">I believe we are all here to serve humanity with our unique talents and I ask myself on a daily basis “how best can I serve today”. When we change from asking “what’s in it for me” to “how can I serve” again life becomes abundant and purpose filled.</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />
</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">Are you living your purpose?</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />

<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none; clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-PvuLuqAA60g/TZWbJKzb8pI/AAAAAAAAAFc/CpIQhsFwzqg/s1600/imagesCAA3ZD01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; cssfloat: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" r6="true" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-PvuLuqAA60g/TZWbJKzb8pI/AAAAAAAAAFc/CpIQhsFwzqg/s1600/imagesCAA3ZD01.jpg" /></a></div>I cant tell you how often I find myself so focused on my goals and desires that I find the voice in my head telling me to work harder to achieve it quicker and so I stay at my computer doing just one more thing and realise the day has passed by and I haven’t stopped to breath in the fresh air and allow things to unfold. Fortunately I have a little mantra that repeats often when I am getting frustrated that something isn’t happening according to my ego’s plan that says “ let go”. Today I had such an experience and after getting very frustrated with my computer and with some adversity in my life, I decided it was time to go bush. So I turned off my computer, left my mobile phone behind and headed for 3 delicious hours of meditation and simply being in the bush. As I sat in silence, contentment and peace arose and I was reminded that these states of being never leave me I just layer attachment over the top.<br />
<br />
I am a goal oriented person and I love to tick boxes! However I am constantly reminding myself to do the tasks and then detach, allow the magic to happen. Every time without fail the results astound me. <br />
<br />
How do you create the balance of achieving with detachment ?Kym Kennedyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13560325527436680779noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2559708535808349415.post-33647663526352224672011-03-25T06:57:00.000+11:002011-03-25T06:57:16.691+11:00The Fifth Law - The Law of Intention and Desire<em>“In the beginning there was desire, which was the first seed of mind; sages, having meditated in their hearts, have discovered by their wisdom the connection of the existent and non-existent” The Hymn of Creation, Rig Veda.</em><br />
<br />
<br />
To me this is a beautiful law – not that they all aren’t, however this one in particular I love because it reminds me of the potential we all have every single day to make a difference. By sending out our intentions into the universe we are making a difference.<br />
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />
</div>How many of you are currently sending prayers for all those in Japan?<br />
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />
</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">I understand that to be our intention of healing and comfort for our fellow human beings who are under great duress at the moment. Our prayers are honouring the connectedness we all have and the oneness. It dispels that excuse “there is nothing I can do”- there is always something we can do, set an intention of safety, prosperity, healing what ever is relevant, allow it to come from your heart and this does make a difference.</div><br />
As we are all energy as is everything on this planet, we can take our clues from nature, if we take the time to be present in nature we can observe the clues that she gives us. Is it time to stock pile for the winter? Or prepare the harvest etc, these of course are metaphors’ for how we can choose to pay attention and be in tune with the universe “as within so without and visa versa”. For instance if we are to plant seeds, the intention of course is to create food for our table, so we plant the seeds, we nurture and care for them however we are no attached to which seeds will sprout and which wont, we set the intention of food, we nurture the environment to allow growth and we trust the process that we will receive food. We set the intention and we let go and allow nature to do the rest. <br />
<br />
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-Tl15_YWM95c/TYuh9F9bEFI/AAAAAAAAAFY/gN2I_T0fhbw/s1600/imagesCAX4A8VT.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; cssfloat: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="126" r6="true" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-Tl15_YWM95c/TYuh9F9bEFI/AAAAAAAAAFY/gN2I_T0fhbw/s320/imagesCAX4A8VT.jpg" width="320" /></a>This is also true of our desires, we can, if we become present with ourselves and take the time to understand our desires and check if they are in alignment with our truth, our path, we can add intention to them and the magic is then letting them go (non attachment – if we hold onto everything nothing new can come in).</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />
</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">As Deepak Chopra says “Intention is the real power behind desire. Intent alone is very powerful, because intent is desire without the attachment to the outcome. Desire alone is weak, because desire in most people is attention with attachment.”</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />
</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">What seeds are you sowing? </div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />

The way to do this is bring our focus to all the abundance we have all around us. The way to seeing the abundance that exists in our lives is to be grateful for what already is there. <br />
<br />
<br />
There are literally thousands of things to be grateful for, our children, our family, the roof over our heads, the car we drive, a beautiful flower, dear friends, The choices we have, the food we eat, the career we have. To begin to bring our awareness to what we are grateful for we begin to change our focus on life and the more we are grateful the more opportunities we will have to be grateful for , that is the universal law of attraction. We attract more of what we focus on.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
In saying all this I am not denying the parts of our lives that aren’t the way we would like them to be, it is merely the starting point for turning our lives around and to live a more empowered, choice driven life. <br />
<br />
We also need to look at what is not working so we can choose what we do want. Another way to create what we want to bring about in our lives it to visualise how we want our life to look.<br />
<br />
Visualisation is a very powerful tool and if we create this a new habit in our lives we can use it in those moments of frustration and despair. Rather than focusing on what’s not working we can stop and begin visualising what we want to see in our lives and with patience and persistence we will bring it about. <br />
<br />
Visualisation is a very simply act of closing your eyes and dreaming/imagining the future we want and add to that the feeling of how we will feel when this is our reality. The feeling is the key – we must add the emotion to the pictures, that is the magic. <br />
<br />
If you would like to know more about visualisation and how our minds work you may like to look into John Assarfs work – he is very passionate and knowledgeable about this subject. www.johnassarf.com ?<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Here are some practical tips you may like to implement to bring more awareness to the abundance and bring about even more:<br />
<br />
Meditate Daily - Why I meditate – calm the mind, increase my witness which allows me to see the behaviours that no longer serve me and once I see them I can change them. It also allows me to get in touch with my intuition which I use as my own inner guidance system a bit a gps in a car, I am guided which direction to take or not take. “prayer is talking to god and meditation is listening to god Eat, prayer, love.<br />
<br />
Journal Daily – to clear those thoughts out of your head leaving room for new ideas and insights. <br />
<br />
Gratitude – write down each day 5 things you are grateful for and you will find you will begin to notice more and more abundance around you.<br />
<br />
Enjoy the journey. Namaste<br />

<em></em><br />
<em><br />
</em><br />
<em>And when we harness the forces of harmony, joy, love, we create success and good fortune with effortless ease</em>. Deepak Chopra.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-iKRojn4l7es/TXQTQi6u72I/AAAAAAAAAFU/G9mnuk2RyDU/s1600/imagesCAJFDSL9.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" l6="true" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-iKRojn4l7es/TXQTQi6u72I/AAAAAAAAAFU/G9mnuk2RyDU/s1600/imagesCAJFDSL9.jpg" /></a></div><br />
<br />
The law of least effort is such a simple concept however in our “doing” driven minds it is not that easy to harness. I am constantly getting caught up by the drama of doing, justifying and resisting and when I am gently reminded, usually by my own reflections, to give up resisting by accepting what is and surrendering, the flow comes back into my life and I giggle at my own forgetfulness of this powerful law.<br />
<br />
It is so easy to get attached to something and all the justifications for that attachment which of course keeps me locked in to a wrestle with the universe and when I step back and ask myself “ what am I resisting?” the answer comes, eventually and the fight is over and the flow resumes.<br />
<br />
What I believe Deepak Chopra is saying when he says “when we harness the forces of nature we create success and good fortune” is that when we give up resisting success comes in the form of flow, creating opportunity to move in the direction of our goals and desires. It is of course the paying of attention to the messages or clues the universe gives us, almost like sign posts and when we are in flow our awareness allows us to notice these divine messages.<br />
<br />
We are truly powerful beings. When we tap into the power of the universe and when we work together we are a formidable team who can create miracles and amazing results for the highest good of all. <br />
<br />
To apply the law of least effort into my life I must practice acceptance, responsibility (taking full responsibility for my life, my thoughts and my actions), and practise defenselessness (relinquishing my need to defend my point of view).<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Are you in flow with the Law of Least Effort? If not what are you resisting?<br />

What we sow is what we reap.</em> <br />
<em><br />
</em><br />
<em>And when we choose actions that bring happiness and success to others, the fruit of our karma is happiness and success."</em> <strong>Deepak Chopra.</strong><br />
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-If4SGDd8LyI/TV5MR95y9jI/AAAAAAAAAFQ/9xf8nt__fis/s1600/imagesCAEPBCNR.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; cssfloat: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="134" j6="true" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-If4SGDd8LyI/TV5MR95y9jI/AAAAAAAAAFQ/9xf8nt__fis/s200/imagesCAEPBCNR.jpg" width="200" /></a></div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">Karma is both the action and the consequence.</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />
</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">I know everything that is currently happening in my life is because of the actions I have taken in my past. That can be an overwhelming realisation; however it is also an empowering reality to know I have the freedom to choose. Whilst I can not change my past I can choose how I respond to the results (karma) of my past. This is where I believe the choice to be graceful serves me well. Rather than making the other person wrong or to retaliate in anyway I choose a graceful response of acceptance and well wishing. Deepak Chopra suggests that prior to deciding on any action we could ask ourselves “will this bring happiness and success to myself and others?" and if we listen to our hearts response we will know the right action to take. This is living consciously and being at cause in our lives.</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />
</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">I love the concept of paying it forward and I believe this is a beautiful way to deal with karmic debt and at the same time creating future karma of happiness and success. By offering a kind deed or something material to another without expectation of anything in return is paying it forward. </div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />
</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">I have been through some adversity and transitions in my life recently and have decided to gift some of my material possessions to those who can make use of them. This feels a graceful way of accepting responsibility for my past choices and creating karma of happiness and success for myself and others.</div><br />
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><em>“ Karma is the eternal assertion of human freedom .. our thoughts, our words and deeds are the threads of the net which we throw around ourselves”</em> <strong>Swami Vivekananda.</strong></div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />
</div>Please feel free to share your experiences of The Law of Karma.<br />

<em>The universe operates through dynamic exchange.... giving and receiving are different aspects of the flow of energy in the universe. And in our willingness to give that which we seek, we keep the abundance of the universe circulating in our lives. Deepak Chopra</em><br />
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_nh_1fUVTZ6g/TUqkE8YFJzI/AAAAAAAAAFM/6RHLUEBkfM0/s1600/Giving.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; cssfloat: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="137" s5="true" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_nh_1fUVTZ6g/TUqkE8YFJzI/AAAAAAAAAFM/6RHLUEBkfM0/s200/Giving.jpg" width="200" /></a> I have found as a mother and a caring woman I am well practiced at giving though I do find giving is receiving as when I give to someone I feel good that I may have made a difference and at the very least I feel I have contributed.</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">Working with the laws of attraction I am aware that I need to keep the flow of energy moving, it is like breathing in and out, it brings balance to my life and when I find I am out of balance usually in the giving, I must stop and receive some space and re energising for myself. I also find that if I am at all in a place thinking in terms of lack or scarcity if I give a little more, eg leave a tip at the coffee shop, even pay it forward or donating some coins in the charity jar I am keeping the flow of energy moving and of course what goes up must come down and what goes out must come back.</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">Deepak Chopra suggests that to practice the Law of giving we can always take a gift where ever you go, it doesn't always need to be material it could be a poem, a prayer or a compliment. He also suggests that we be open and grateful for all the gifts the universe has to offer like the abundance of nature, a bird singing or the smell of a beautiful rose and to commit to keep wealth circulating in your life by giving and receiving.</div>I would love to hear if you feel balanced in your giving and receiving!Kym Kennedyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13560325527436680779noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2559708535808349415.post-83652193384407035652011-01-27T11:08:00.000+11:002011-01-27T11:08:28.579+11:00Pure Potentiality – the first Spiritual Law of SuccessAccording to Deepak Chopra there are Seven Spiritual Laws to Success and the first one is The Law of Pure Potentiality.<br />
<br />
<br />
<em>• The source of all creation is pure consciousness…pure potentiality seeking expression from the unmanifest to the manifest.</em><br />
<em>And when we realize that our true Self is one of pure potentiality, we align with the power that manifests everything in the universe. </em><br />
<br />
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_nh_1fUVTZ6g/TUC3Mma6aeI/AAAAAAAAAFE/CLWriFek1KE/s1600/potential.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; cssfloat: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" s5="true" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_nh_1fUVTZ6g/TUC3Mma6aeI/AAAAAAAAAFE/CLWriFek1KE/s200/potential.jpg" width="137" /></a></div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">The way I get in touch with this law is by creating the space to dream into what I want to bring about in my life. Once I have created the thought, I have in fact created the potential for it to come about, the possibility if you like.</div><br />
An example of this might be a new home. I would write a clear list of what I want in that new home, size, area, price etc and then allow it to show up, following any guidance I receive to go to a certain real estate or look on line. Then I would take the steps necessary e.g fill in an application or put in an offer and then imagine ( visualise) myself living there, take a picture of myself at the house if possible, imagine where all my furniture will go. <br />
<br />
What I am tapping into is the Law of Pure Potentiality. What allows me to remain in this energy is believing! Allowing fear and doubt to surface takes me away from being in flow. When I get my head around this law I get excited by the power that I have inside of me to create an amazing life for myself, my family and my community. I believe “Anything Is Possible” and I have had enough evidence of this in my life to know the power of this the Law of Pure Potentiality. <br />
<br />
• One way to access the field is through the daily practice of silence, meditation, and non-judgment. Spending time in nature… <br />
<br />
• Practicing silence means making a commitment to take a certain amount of time to simply Be. <br />

The question she posed went something like this: <em>"I was wondering if you have any insight on manifesting what you want in life, no matter how big or small.. For example, I have no problem being thankful for a good parking space, and I always receive that promptly, but trying to make a cold go away appears that much harder. Any ideas? ."</em></div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">I love this question because I have struggled with this myself. What I know effects my results are my beliefs, the limitation I place on the difference between big or small, my expectation and my attachment to the outcome. For example with a parking space I absolutely undoubtedly expect the space to be there when I require it and of course it is, on the odd occasion that the space is not there, I check my thoughts, let go and go around the block and there it is. What I realise blocks the results I want ,big or small is my expectation or rather my doubt or limiting belief that bigger means harder, and I might ad that bigger is merely a judgement on my behalf anyway and that is where the limiting beliefs starts.By saying something is bigger I am automatically expecting it to be harder to manifest. Therefore if I place no judgement ( big/small) on what I want, and simply be very clear about what that is , the universe will rearrange things so opportunities arise that are in align with my desires. Another important factor is <strong>not trying</strong>, if I am attached to it showing in a certain way or by a certain time I am again putting limitations out there and the universe takes that as a NO. The space I aim to function from is a relaxed, open, aware, surrendered space of observation and allowance. The moment I allow any doubt or negative thoughts to creep in I am stopping the flow. If I find this happening, I stop and bring my awareness to what I want to bring about and surrender, I do this over and over again if need be so I get back in flow.</div>The same is true with illness, though I also pay attention to what message my body is trying to give me. ( that's another subject for another blog) . With Illness for me there can be fear that comes up so I need to recognise that and again surrender, rest, do what needs to be done, vitamins etc and visualise and give thanks for my wellness. The way I strengthen my ability to observe my behaviour it to meditate daily. By being still and meditating I make my ability to witness and observe myself much stronger so I can catch when I am not in flow more quickly. I would also suggest to observe how you behave with the things that you can manifest easily and duplicate that to other areas you wish to create. I am very passionate about living on purpose and being at cause in my life. <strong>When have you created what you want?</strong>Kym Kennedyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13560325527436680779noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2559708535808349415.post-7715717419531805692010-12-10T17:59:00.000+11:002010-12-10T17:59:34.225+11:00Why I find meditation so useful in my everyday life<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_nh_1fUVTZ6g/TQHPZBRV8bI/AAAAAAAAAE4/YZNRgpxKFc8/s1600/PersonMeditating.125w.tn%255B1%255D.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; cssfloat: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" n4="true" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_nh_1fUVTZ6g/TQHPZBRV8bI/AAAAAAAAAE4/YZNRgpxKFc8/s1600/PersonMeditating.125w.tn%255B1%255D.jpg" /></a>Over the years I have been asked the question “how can I change my life ?.........”</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />
</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">I have one simple answer, Meditate! And do it daily.</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />
</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">When I began to meditate daily it changed my life. Why? Because through meditation I learned to be still, (something I wasn’t very good at prior.) and allow the feelings that busyness ignores. If feelings came up I would start a new project, clean the house, go shopping , or allow myself to get distracted by the numerous other things in my life, anything but acknowledge the uncomfortable feelings that arose. It wasn’t until I experienced the tranquil feelings of meditation (shared with me by my beautiful friend and teacher – Sylvana) that I realised there was another way to deal with these feelings. I was avoiding these feelings because Some part of me was terrified that I wouldn’t be able to cope with them and if I allowed them to come up a I would freak out! What freak out meant for me was that I would go mad, what I didn’t realise is that if I kept trying to avoid what was there, (a bit like trying to hold a balloon under water, which takes a lot of energy and eventually I would tire and have to let go), I would surely be denying a significant part of myself which in some is a form of madness. With support and reassurance from my mentors I learned to tell myself to “stay” when the feelings arise and allow the energy of the feelings to rise and release, sometimes this happened quickly and sometimes it seemed to go on forever however, the feeling always passed. </div><br />
Studies have shown that meditation: <br />
<br />
*reduces stress<br />
<br />
* Increases creativity and intelligence\<br />
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />
</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">* Improves memory and learning ability</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />
</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">* Increases energy</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />
</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">* Increases inner calm</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />
</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">* Reduces insomnia</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />

</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">* Improves health</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />

</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">There are many more benefits to regular meditation, but don’t take my word for it, give it a try and notice the difference for yourself.</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />

I reacted to my life rather than responding to it. This way of being of course created more of what I didn’t want in my life because I was continually adding energy to the drama. I am happy to report, through my own journey of personal development I now more often that not respond to the events of my life. This allows me to deal with the facts and not the opinions of others. I have become more tolerant of others opinions whilst not necessarily agreeing with them.<br />
<br />
<br />
When adversity shows up in my life I am more grounded in my approach and focused on solutions and with clear goals in my mind I move forward in the direction I choose rather than be bounced around by the adverse conditions. <br />
<br />
When issues arise I deal directly with the person involved rather than complain or gossip about it to others. <br />
<br />
I now choose to be at cause, on purpose and focused on where I want to be in my life and the results are constantly astounding me. <br />
<br />
How I stay in response mode rather than in reaction is;<br />
<br />
* I take responsibility for my life and not blames others or outside circumstances, <br />
<br />
* I raise my game by communicating positively and not by gossiping <br />
<br />
* I deal with the facts and speak directly to the person involved in any given issue. <br />
<br />
For a more harmonious life both personally and professionally I have dropped the drama and instead I focus on what I can change and let the rest go.<br />
<br />

To me Journaling is essential to my wellbeing, it allows me to spill out the mindless chatter in my head on to the pages which then allows room for new more productive positive thoughts. It is a letting go process, letting go of all the self talk that is not helpful to my highest potential. If these thoughts are left there unattended they continue to go around and around causing more confusion and chaos in my mind. I practice journaling most days, it is the first thing I do in the morning and the last thing I do at night. It is a place I can allow my frustrations, my wonderings and my unexplored ideas out of my head and on to my private pages where they will do now harm. I also use my journal to record my daily wins and gratitude's. I have and continue to experience profound change through journaling. It is also very useful for me to occasionally go back through my journal pages to see just how far I have come and witness what was troubling me on one day is no longer an issue in my life.<br />
If you do not have this as a regular practice I urge you, both men and woman to give it a go and see what effect it has on your daily life. <br />
Journaling - Reexperiencing the past with today's adult mind.<br />

They mentally run through important events before they happen</em>."-<em> Charles A. Garfield </em><br />
Recently I have be experiencing some phenomenal results in my life both personally and professionally. I attribute allot of this to the increased intensity of my daily visualisations. <br />
I have increased the frequency and intensified the feelings connected to my visualisations and I am very excited by the results. I love to put on a beautiful piece of music to stir my emotions and then I begin to run my mind movies. I find this a simple and very enjoyable thing to do and by doing so magic really does happen and my dreams are coming true. "Anything truly is possible""<br />
Do you visualise?Kym Kennedyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13560325527436680779noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2559708535808349415.post-28733026578990448402010-10-28T11:08:00.000+11:002010-10-28T11:08:04.612+11:00Surrender and be in flow<span style="float: right;"> <img alt="" height="7" src="http://thinkexist.com/i/sq/4star.gif" width="39" /> <img alt="I Like this quote" border="0" height="11" onclick="vote(212424,1)" src="http://thinkexist.com/i/sq/ThumbsUp.gif" style="cursor: pointer;" width="12" /> <img alt="I dislike this quote" border="0" height="11" onclick="vote(212424,0)" src="http://thinkexist.com/i/sq/ThumbsDwn.gif" style="cursor: pointer;" width="12" /></span><span class="sqq">“<em>The creative process is a process of <b>surrender</b>, not control.” Julia Cameron.</em></span><br />
Surrendering is not always an easy nor comfortable thing to do, we are conditioned to hang on and struggle. However in my experience what I have found is when I do finally come to that place of letting go and surrendering what the universe lets in to take the place of what has been let go of is always amazing and beyond what I thought possible. How I do this is by first noticing what I might be struggling with or resisting and usually if I check in with how I am feeling this gives me a clue. I then ask myself what is the worst thing that can happen and what is the best that can happen. This usually gives me a balanced perspective, I also check in with what I want to happen and then let go and trust. This is when the magic happens, I will be guided to an action, or something unexpected occurs that allows me to take a step forward. I call this living in flow and for me it feels like walking in grace, a lovely way to live. <br />
How do you experience living in flow?Kym Kennedyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13560325527436680779noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2559708535808349415.post-72568452700409520182010-09-30T19:40:00.000+10:002010-09-30T19:40:25.618+10:00Watch your words<em>"Take advantage of every opportunity to practice your communication skills so that when important occasions arise, you will have the gift, the style, the sharpness, the clarity, and the emotions to affect other people." </em><em>Jim Rohn</em> <br />
Our words have a powerful effect on our lives. When we become aware of our language and use it purposefully our world can change in extraordinary ways. What you focus on, creates your reality. It is not only the words we say out loud , it is also the words that we repeat in our heads. If you want abundance then focus your words on having all you need and want, not on the burdens you may carry.That is not to say that challenge does not exist, it does however the words we use to describe the challenges are what count.<br />
Earlier this week I went to a busy Sydney railway station with the purpose of handing out flyer's to attract potential team members. I did this, however what I also experienced was an acute awareness of the power of my words. I saw the faces on hundreds of people change because I wished them a wonderful day, I felt so humbled by such a simple act on my behalf and realised the power my words had to positively effect another. Becoming aware of my words allows me to use them wisely, to offer support and encouragement maybe even brighten someones day.<br />

I have journalled , written goals, become way more disciplined with my" Daily Method of Operation", I am visualising and affirming. I have to say my life is rapidly changing from adversity to extraordinary in ways that are continuing to delight me.</div><div style="font-size: 12px; margin: 0px;">I have 2 particular extraordinary aspects happening in my life right now and I notice I am regularly pinching myself ( metaphorically) to see if this is real. After having come through an intense and extended period of adversity I had gotten use to accepting that into my life. Now with these amazing divine gifts I am remembering to graceless accept , not over Analise (ego) and simple stay open to the extraordinary life I am co- creating. </div><div style="font-size: 12px; margin: 0px;"><em>“Dance as though no one is watching you. Love as though you have never been hurt before. Sing as though no one can hear you. You deserve nothing less than to live an extraordinary life.</div><div style="font-size: 12px; margin: 0px;">Namaste.</div><div style="font-size: 12px; margin: 0px;"><br />
